Gibson Guitar Sale at Musician’s Friend

Just a quick heads-up for everyone shopping for a new guitar! As the new 2014 models have just been announced by all major guitar companies, there are some sweet deals to be had for many of the 2013 guitars models. These guitars are not better or worse than the new ones – just with some different features (or even no changes at all!). The big guitar stores just need to have their warehouse emptied to allow more space for the new ones coming in. You might’ve guessed it – this is the perfect time to get an awesome guitar deal! The folks over at Musician’s Friend just started their Gibson guitar sale where you can have some sweet deals! I want to show you two of them in case you need a new Gibson axe.

Gibson Guitar Sale Highlights

There are plenty of guitars on sale at this year’s Gibson guitar sale, but I only want to point out the best deals out there to be had. These are the following two in my opinion:

Gibson 2013 Les Paul Standard

My highlight of this year’s Gibson Guitar Sale: the 2013 Gibson Les Paul Standard! Every guitar player has to own a Gibson Les Paul in his life at some point (only my personal opinion here) and here’s your chance. As the Les Paul is more than 60 years old, you might ask – why should I buy the 2013 model and not an older one? Has there anything changed? Yes, it has! This one has the awesome new asymmetrical neck shape that feels great in my opinion, as well as new switching options: you can now split each of the Burstbucker pickups and reverse its phase – which opens up lots of new tonal possibilities! This comes with an awesomely figured maple top and my favorite desert burst color. On sale for just over 2.000 USD, this is a great deal of the Gibson guitar sale 2013!

Gibson 2013 Les Paul Studio

If you’re on a tighter budget, there’s also a great deal at the Gibson guitar sale 2013 to be had for you! The Les Paul Studio is the most popular “no nonsense” guitar model of the Gibson brand out there. Of course this one doesn’t have fancy binding or an AAAAA flamed maple top. But it does have an awesome Les Paul sound and all the quality hardware you need on it (490R / 498T pickups). Because of the thin lacquer on these models, some even say it sounds better than the Standard as the wood can vibrate even better (which is important for your tone, you know…). At just 950USD this one is a steal and your perfect way into the Gibson Guitar World!
